The British novelist Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World is regarded as one of the three major dystopian science fiction novels 20th century. novel describes a future State where world superficially rich, but, rulers have gutted spiritual world. not only satire and critique reality but also reflection warning about Taking Foucault’s power discourse theory theoretical framework, this thesis explores how operates in World; by analyzing construction process “beauty”: through technological manipulation ideological manipulation, people are deprived discourse. It aims to reveal that nature ruler numbness, bondage disregarding individuality freedom. At same time, under oppression mighty State, awakening few individuals occur. Thus, based on inseparable relationship between discourse, analysis provided here will end with some conclusions meaning ways which from “marginalized group” society, represented John, resist totalitarian domination This employs close reading provide readers new angle further understand control identity crisis main characters. stimulate discussion thinking over modern people’s self-existence, self-awareness understanding human development.
